One of my dreams has been to have the weddings that I’ve captured published on some of the incredible “Wedding Blogs” that are out there. With the help, and mostly encouragement from some of my friends, I have been submitting weddings! It’s been a bitter sweet process. All of the work it takes to submit a wedding, & then to be turned down feels a bit daunting… , but I am keeping at it. Finding the right places to submit! Such a process, but I love it & love to chase my dream! Anyways! Recently I submitted Heather & Anton’s wedding & it was accepted!!!! Yes, you know it! I waved my hands up in the air & made some crazy holler sound, as I was so excited!!!
Thank you, Inspired By This, for being inspired by Anton & Heather’s pumpkins!!!!! Be sure to check out the post & PLEASE leave a little comment if you have a second!!! Comments are just beautiful things!

Helping Jake & Starr’s wedding come together was Wedding Coordinator JoAnn Podleski of Ooh La La Events. Jake & Starr’s wedding was nothing short of incredible! They were married & celebrated at the Riverview Country Club. Absolutely beautiful. Starr found her Maggie Sottero dress here in Redding at Occasions . The tux’s were from Men’s Warehouse by Calvin Klein. They brought in Salvagno’s Event Designer, Terrie Barr, who provided the linens, chinese lanterns, ceremony chairs, cocktail linens & tables, martini tower, charger plates, & other rentals! Starr wanted to say how amazing they were & highly recommends them!
Jake & Starr!! Congratulations! Truly such an honor to capture your wedding! May your lives together be as happy as happily ever after!
You can dry your eyes
Perfect shadows alive
This is the day i make you mine
& honorable mention… the bridesmaids & mother of the bride’s shoes were ahhhmazing!
& I so loved the bridesmaids gifts from star made by Silver Garage!
and down the road, not to far from Starr, Jake was getting ready!
Jake & Starr opted for a first glance moment! Let me start off by saying I didn’t put any pressure on Star to see Jake before the wedding. We had a great lunch together & talked about options & Star was pretty set that they were going to go the traditional route! Well, after sending her the time-lines.. seeing each other before the wedding & not seeing each other before the wedding, they both agreed to see each other before!!!!! I asked her a few times… “Are you sure?” They were…. Well, after the family pictures, Starr looked at me & said, “Thank you so much for the option to see each other before the wedding! It was one of the best decisions I made!” Yeah!!!!!!!
Ahh! Magical! Seeing each other before the wedding does have it’s advantages! Jake & Starr had a good amount of shooting with just the two of them!
Showing up at TBS Ranch in Palo Cedro, CA, I was in awe! Every “I” was dotted & every “T” was crossed. The bride was taking in the beauty of what was yet to be the most beautiful celebration & all the bridesmaids right by her side, ready to go! And to top it off, she was so peaceful. Everything, thus far, had come together perfectly! Kevin was about to arrive! Oh the anticipation! A first glance moment! She was expecting a text from him & he was expecting one from her! About to become one! Each other’s “Everything!”
Lindsay & her Mom hand-made ALL of the flowers! Every little flower, every bouquet, every boutonnière, every center piece, I was in awe! I’m still in awe! They started making everything in June. One flower at a time! One flower at a time! One flower at a time! Just photographing all of the flowers was “ahhhhing”! Absolutely floored! Absolutely stunning, & was wishing I was a bridesmaid so that I could have the coolest bouquet ever! Kevin & Lindsay, your detail, your design, your vision was spectacular! Gwen! You make wedding dreams come true! Your hard work & service is stunning! So happy that everything came together so beyond beautifully!
Kevin & Lindsay were married at TBS Ranch! It is a lovely, lovely venue! The amazing Gwen Edwardson was the Event Designer & coordinator! She continually does an exceptional job! I am always so lucky when we have Gwen for the wedding day! Hair & Make-up was done by Amy Edecott from Fox Hair Studios. DJ was Jon Thompson with Netsound. Garret Viggers played his dulcimer before & throughout the ceremony! Absolutely breathtaking! The yummy food was catered by Sean Gafner Catering! The most beautiful cake was made by Teri from Cake is the Best Part. The amazing Tyler Fairies was the videoographer! So cannot wait to see the video!!!!!! & to Ben & my intern Mitzi! Thank you so much, both of you, for all of your hard work. We are an incredible team & I cannot imagine working without you!
Kevin & Lindsay! Such a joy! Such a dream come true to shoot a wedding such as your’s! So beyond my wildest dreams! Absolutely beautiful! Thank you! Thank you! Congratulations!!!! May your lives together be happily ever after!!!!

& for the amazing dance to the song Everything by Michael Buble`
You’re a falling star, You’re the get away car.
You’re the line in the sand when I go to far.
You’re the swimming pool, on an August day. And you’re the perfect thing to say!
And I can’t believe, uh that I’m your man,
& I get to kiss you baby just because I can.
Whatever comes our way, ah we’ll see it through,
& you know that’s what our love can do!
And in this crazy life, & through these crazy times
It’s you, it’s you, you make me sing
You’re every line, you’re every word, you’re everything!
Yep! AHHmazing DANCE! You two were incredible! Absolutely the most breathtaking dance!
& to end the time with Kevin & Lindsay we did a few by this stunning ride!! Oh how I loved how the bridesmaids decorated it!
