Capturing other photographers, or other photographers kids/family, etc.. is always such an honor. It is a little bit nerve-racking, but always such an privilege!!! Last week I captured the sweetest little girl & didn’t even realize that her birthday was coming so soon, in fact, TODAY!!!! Happy Birthday sweet, Bella!! People often ask me if I ever get tired of photographing little girls in pettiskirts, particularly the P I N K one! I smile, and think of the recation that I get to enjoy everytime I get to watch, as she puts on a pettiskirt for the first time, and I answer, “No! It’s one of my favorite times to photograph, because each time a pettiskirt is worn, she feels like a princess. She feels like she is in a magical land & has sparkles all over! The biggest smile ever comes along, and twinkles are in her eyes!!!! I sometimes tear up because it is so precious!!!!!! So, bring on the pettiskirts! They are magic!

So enjoyed this little “mini” session with Ruby & Grady! They were absolutely the most adorable kids! Grady named this little pink car “Hudson” for me!!!!! He thought it was pretty cool to get to drive his sister around in it!!! Yeah for the AHHHHHHHH moments in our lives!!!
Yesterday I had the honor of capturing Kena Ireland. Oh yeah, I am soooo in love with her & her name!! She was eight days new & just as precious as ever!!
I was so honored to capture the entire Shoffner Family! It was the easiest photo shoot of a family of FOURTEEN that I have ever had. The connection between this family was incredible! It was so delightful to watch everyone laughing together & loving each other!!! Thank you, Shoffner’s for having me capture your family!

And for those of you who don’t know, I really deep down in my heart, want to be a worship leader, but I just haven’t made it to the stage! Instead, I hide out in the back room with my keyboard & sing as loud and as passionately as I can {when no one is home..don’t worry…} !! This morning, as I was singing, the line…”I just want to be close to Your heart” resonated through my house, as if I were on a stage… Being close to His heart right now is where I find the secret of happiness, the secret of courage, the secret to forgive, and the secret of FREEDOM!

Favorite Thing # 6 is Forever21! I absolutely LOVE Forever21! I don’t know what I would do without their $3.80 earrings & $9.80 amazing tops! Forever21 recently came to Chico, so that’s pretty exciting!!!! Hoping they will make their way to Redding!!!!

It’s that time of year again! The countdown to Christmas! Thee most wonderful time of the year!!! Yes, my TWO Christmas Trees are up! This is the first year I have ever had two Christmas Trees!! It’s fun! I have completely filled my ole’ good & faithful, (it’s fake) sooo, had to get a real one– oh the smell of a REAL Christmas Tree!! Both are equally beautiful!! So much fun having two!! LOL!!!
