.lady in red. {Redding, CA Engagement Photographer}

About a year ago Melissa did some modeling for me & had brought this beautiful red dress to the shoot. Knowing she was dating David, and they were pretty serious I asked her to hold the dress for their engagement shoot! I just had this feeling that it would make for the most amazing engagement photos! The dress, along with the beautiful couple, made stunning photos! I couldn’t be more happier! It was such a great shoot! Both David & Melissa were so anticipating the shoot, ready to pose it up, ready to have fun, & willing to try anything! Thank you both for the honor of capturing the magic that you share!!

.good-bye’s. {Redding, CA Child Photographer}

Good-bye’s are always sad, but new beginnings are always so beautiful! The Lynn Family have been incredible clients of mine, & yesterday we had a “for the last time in Redding” session! They are getting ready to move up north, and as sad as I am to see them go, I am so happy for the new adventures in their lives!!! We had a sweet session. Avagail is definitely busier than all of her photo shoots, but OMG! She is just as cute as ever!!! I’ll miss you, Lynn Family! When you come visit Redding be sure to give me a call!!!

.allison. {Redding, CA Photographer}

Just across the Sundial Bridge, in Redding, CA, awaits a field of daisies! You can drink in the smell! Soak up all of the colors! It is an amazing site right now! So amazing that it’s worth the walk over the Sundial Bridge! Even with an 18MO & her baby brother!! Allison was such a good girl! She was spunky, and interested in everything around her!!! So enjoyed our shoot, Shane & Angela! Little Allison is a doll!!!!!! Looking forward to your family shoot in six months!!!!!!

I have been having coffee with Adalyn (& her amazing mommy) every Friday for the last several months!!!! Everytime we meet Adalyn is the sweetest little girl!!! She just sits there & smiles! Brittany & I chat it up & Adalyn just smiles and looks around! She’s a little sweet pea!!!!!

I have loved the last minute senior sessions!!! I’ll take a senior ANYDAY!!!! Lexi had a car full of clothes, shoes, accessories! I was in heaven!! So many fun options!!!!  Incorporating the suitcase into her shoot, I really felt a sense of journey as I captured Lexi! I know that there are great things ahead for her!!!

‘Tis the season for engagement shoots!!! AHHH! Love them!!!! So enjoy meeting new couples! Hearing their stories & where they are at in the wedding planning cycle!!

I met Destiny last April during Art Hop at Monica’s Vintage!!! She had me at hello!!! I was sooo hoping she would hire me to capture her wedding & guess what?!!!! Tommy & Destiny have been together just over two years!!!! They love Hawaii!! However, are going to adventure somewhere new for their honeymoon!!! It’s a surprise!!! They are getting married in July– I cannot wait! It is going to be so beautiful!!!!!!

I just celebrated turning 34! AHH! So old I am!! We have all been fighting colds in my land, so it was a pretty mellow birthday, but the celebration & feeling special was very much a part of April 5th! This quote from Alice in Wonderland ignited something in my heart!! To dream, to belive, to spread your wings & fly! Six impossible things before breakfast—-ahhhh!!!! 

Meet Alex–She LOVES Tim Burton!!! I loved capturing her! Her brother Nash is leaving soon to serve our country–keep him in your prayers. Meet Sandy & her adorable pups! A beautiful woman who has inspired me beyond words! Sandy–your joy for life is remarkable!
