I cannot say ENOUGH about the amazing children’s & now mommy line, Matilda Jane! One of my dear friends, here in Redding, is now a Trunk Keeper for Matilda Jane, Keri Grauel! If you are interested in purchasing anything, or even hosting a Matilda Jane Trunk Show shoot her an e-mail!!!  You will not be disappointed in this line! It is absolutely incredible!

I had a little mini-shoot with Keri’s daughter! She was a little shy in front of the camera, but when my daughter, Kira, who joined me on the shoot, started being a little fishy, Finnley warmed up & gave us a few smiles!!!!

.good-bye’s. {Redding, CA Child Photographer}

Good-bye’s are always sad, but new beginnings are always so beautiful! The Lynn Family have been incredible clients of mine, & yesterday we had a “for the last time in Redding” session! They are getting ready to move up north, and as sad as I am to see them go, I am so happy for the new adventures in their lives!!! We had a sweet session. Avagail is definitely busier than all of her photo shoots, but OMG! She is just as cute as ever!!! I’ll miss you, Lynn Family! When you come visit Redding be sure to give me a call!!!

.allison. {Redding, CA Photographer}

Just across the Sundial Bridge, in Redding, CA, awaits a field of daisies! You can drink in the smell! Soak up all of the colors! It is an amazing site right now! So amazing that it’s worth the walk over the Sundial Bridge! Even with an 18MO & her baby brother!! Allison was such a good girl! She was spunky, and interested in everything around her!!! So enjoyed our shoot, Shane & Angela! Little Allison is a doll!!!!!! Looking forward to your family shoot in six months!!!!!!

I have been having coffee with Adalyn (& her amazing mommy) every Friday for the last several months!!!! Everytime we meet Adalyn is the sweetest little girl!!! She just sits there & smiles! Brittany & I chat it up & Adalyn just smiles and looks around! She’s a little sweet pea!!!!!

As we journey to the end of March, so crazy to believe, I am excited to get this post up!!! I have a deal with Trevor & Marissa to capture Stone’s growth every month, while Trevor is away serving our country!!!! Only in Redding would you find a store called “Stoney’s”, & all for a smile, I called Marissa & mentioned that I had spotted this store & just had to capture Stone next to “Stoney’s!”  We love & miss you, Trevor! Our prayers are continually with you!!!!!!

Stone loved Kira, she came along with me to help me get some grins out of Stoney… Yep, as soon as I changed angles he waved… ;)

.happy birthday bella. {Redding, CA Child Photographer}

Capturing other photographers, or other photographers kids/family, etc..  is always such an honor. It is a little bit nerve-racking, but always such an privilege!!! Last week I captured the sweetest little girl & didn’t even realize that her birthday was coming so soon, in fact, TODAY!!!! Happy Birthday sweet, Bella!! . P I N K. {Kaiya Eve Pettiskirts}

People often ask me if I ever get tired of photographing little girls in pettiskirts, particularly the P I N K one!  I smile, and think of the recation that I get to enjoy everytime I get to watch, as she puts on a pettiskirt for the first time, and I answer, “No! It’s one of my favorite times to photograph, because each time a pettiskirt is worn, she feels like a princess. She feels like she is in a magical land & has sparkles all over! The biggest smile ever comes along, and twinkles are in her eyes!!!! I sometimes tear up because it is so precious!!!!!! So,  bring on the pettiskirts! They are magic!

So enjoyed this little “mini” session with Ruby & Grady! They were absolutely the most adorable kids! Grady named this little pink car “Hudson” for me!!!!! He thought it was pretty cool to get to drive his sister around in it!!! Yeah for the AHHHHHHHH moments in our lives!!!
